About Tina
“My name is Tina and I have worked at Varsity Sports as their Graphic Designer for the past 5 years, and I’m not really a runner. In fact, I’m not very athletic at all. I’m a graphic designer, wine lover, and wannabe fashionista, but running has never really fit into my repertoire. I mean, I have a pretty solid Nike Tempo collection and a few pairs of really clean running shoes, but that’s about it. Until now. I have committed to going through Jenni’s infamous Half-Marathon Training this year and document it all here for you to follow along/laugh/wince in pain.”

Cristina Triana is the Graphic Designer for all three Varsity Sports locations and sister company Dream Silk Screens. She loves anything involving graphic design, fashion, or wine and is eager to add running to the list.

Hi Tina!
I am new to Baton Rouge (from Lake Charles). I was searching for a local running group when I came across your blog. I love to run but I am terrified to start in a group. I keep putting it off but it’s nice to know I’m not the only newbie
I look forward to meeting you at one of the runs!
Hi Lee Ann! Welcome to Baton Rouge, and I hope you’ll come run with us soon! Trust me, I was *terrified* to go to the first meeting on Monday, but once it was done, I honestly felt silly for being so worried about it. Everyone is so sweet & eager to help you find your place in the group. If you come find me, I’d be glad to introduce you to some people & run with you! Hope to see you soon!
